Evaluation of the Cedars-Sinai Health Equity Grant Program
In early 2021, Cedars-Sinai Community Benefit Giving Office launched a Health Equity Grant Program that awarded grants to 72 organizations to support health equity systems change. Cedars-Sinai commissioned SPR to conduct an evaluation of this program.
Project Highlights
An agile approach.
The research team met with meeting with the client between each evaluation activity to discuss what was learned and adapt subsequent data collection plans to address data gaps or new emerging questions as they emerged.
An emphasis on strategic learning.
When data collection and analysis was complete, the research team convened a strategic learning with Community Benefits Giving Office project team and institutional leadership to discuss research findings, learnings, and implications for the program’s future.
