Tessa St. John

Tessa is an Associate in the Workforce and Human Services Division at SPR with expertise in workforce grant management, team leadership, project management, and technical assistance and training.

Prior to joining SPR, Tessa worked for the State of California where she led a team of analysts conducting grant compliance monitoring reviews and providing technical assistance to workforce grant recipients, specializing in WIOA. She also has experience managing complex business and tax programs and spearheading significant policy and law changes at the local government level.

Tessa holds an M.P.A. from California State University, Stanislaus and a B.A. in Child Development from Sacramento State. In her free time, she enjoys working on embroidery projects, reading mysteries, and analyzing her two cats.
